Dispose of waste responsibly only at Sambranikodi boat jetty: carry back all non-
biodegradable litter, and leave the area litter-free before departing
Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited inside the island
Do not harm the flora and fauna in the area
Carrying guns, firearms, and inflammable materials is strictly prohibited, and is
punishable by law
Obey the instructions of staff and guides
If you have any serious medical issues, kindly be extra careful
Don't move away from the designated areas
Respect the local customs and beliefs
Please take care of your belongings. In case of any loss, the Department of
Tourism will not take responsibility.
Booking
Bookings can be made online and limited bookings through offline
District Tourism Promotion Council, Kollam, does NOT operate any other online
booking website and we take NO responsibility for losses suffered by guests who
made bookings through any other website or travel agent
Online booking starts two months in advance
Online booking of any slot closes only twenty minutes after the beginning of that
particular slot
Payments have to be made in full, at the time of booking
Rescheduling and Cancellations will be allowed only as per our Rescheduling
and Cancellation Policy.
Check-in time and Check-out Times are mentioned in the programme schedule
and shall be strictly adhered to.
During check-in, all guests who are Foreign Nationals are required to present
their Original Passports with valid Visas. Details of Foreign Nationals availing our
services shall be shared with Police authorities as required by law.
Payment Gateway charges, Check-post entry charges, Taxes, and Cess (as
applicable by legislation) will be levied from the visitors, and the amount of the
same will be displayed during online booking.
During check-in, at least one member of the group have to mandatorily produce
any one of the below mentioned Government issued Identification Documents in
Original: Passport, Driving Licence, Voters ID Card or Aadhaar Card
7 persons per boat on sharing basis
Boat will start only after the 7 seats are occupied
You can book one entire boat by paying for the 7 seats
Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy
In case we are forced to cancel OR modify your Booking/Reservation due to
natural calamities, acts of god, civil unrest, war, diseases, health risk, epidemics,
Left Wing Extremism OR Terrorist activities OR its consequences, Government
ordered lockdowns OR travel restrictions declared by the Government,
Government Restriction on Tourism Activities in the Reserve and other
unforeseeable events beyond our control, it will NOT be treated as a cancellation
by District Tourism Promotion Council. In this case, you could choose to shift
over to a mutually agreed new date at no extra cost OR avail a refund with
minimum cancellation charges (lowest slab will apply).
We reserve the right to cancel or modify Bookings/Reservations where it appears
that a guest has engaged in a fraudulent OR unlawful activity OR has knowingly
furnished incorrect information OR under other circumstances where it appears
that the reservation contains OR has resulted from a mistake or error.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings under unforeseen
circumstances within our control where we need to close down the facility for
repairs or for catering to VIP visits. Under such circumstances, it shall be treated
as Cancellation by District Tourism Promotion Council and the guest shall be
refunded in full.
Cancellation Requests shall be entertained ONLY through our website
In case the guest fails to show up for Booking/Reservations, no refund or
rescheduling will be applicable. No further communication regarding this shall be
entertained or replied to
Bookings/Reservations once made cannot be modified or cancelled partially
Any refund will take at least 20 days to process, subject to approval of the same
Payment Gateway processing charges will not be refunded
Guests can cancel their bookings Online and the following cancellation charges
will be levied
20 to 30 days prior to commencement of the Programme: 100%
2 to 20 days prior: 50%
Less than 2 days (48 hours) and after: no Refund
How to Cancel a Ticket?
Go to the "My Bookings" link in the top menu.
Select your date of visit.
Choose your boarding point.
Enter the mobile number you used at the time of booking.
Click SEARCH.
Your booking details will be listed below.
Click the CANCEL TICKET button.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click OK.
An SMS containing an OTP will be sent to your mobile number for verification. You will also be redirected to a page to enter the OTP.
Enter the OTP.
Click VERIFY.
The system will verify the OTP. If it is valid, your cancellation request will be accepted, and a confirmation message will be displayed on the page.
